We took one last hike in the Rockies before we left Colorado ::wiping a tear from my cheek:: We will miss the mountains!
Guess where we spent our Labor Day? Can I get an "N"...
"Y"...
My ring totally came from Tiffany's ::wink wink::
"C"
Above is one of the half-completed World Trade Center towers. It will eventually be 104 stories high. Woah!
Spent some time walking through the beautiful Central Park and found...
Mini sailboats...
Gigantic Bubbles...
And a bird bath for babies.
You could spend days in NYC seeing all the sites and shopping 'til you run out of money. We'll definitely be going back for more fun soon.
Dayton is just about 11-months-old. When did that happen?? I'm sure I'll be saying that again when he's graduating high school, getting married, etc. Fun facts about him include:
* He LOVES it when Daddy comes home! He gets so excited and smiley - melts my heart.
* He loves staring at people, almost to the point that it would be totally awkward and creepy if he weren't simply a curious baby.
* He eats strawberry yogurt like it's illegal.
* He enjoys pulling books off of shelves and he loves
* He loves "playing" the piano with me.
* He will actually hold still to watch videos of himself on the computer.
* He is hot blooded! He feels warm all the time and sleeps just in a onesie. Despite me covering him up again before I go to bed, he always kicks off his blankets.
* He's a huge fan of finger foods, so much so that I've dropped the pureed baby food and moved to solid foods entirely.
* He loves to be chased and has the most mischievous grin when he's crawling away from us.
* He loves MY keys and cell phone, so I gave him one of our old phones and a useless set of keys. They are his favorite toys! Next he'll be wanting to borrow the car...
There's more, but how much fun can you handle at once? I'll leave you with this advice. If you haven't read the Hunger Games trilogy, do it. Today. I was having a hard time keeping the book separate from reality. :o)
Life is good people!
I didn't know you moved! Brian did a summer in Pittsburg one summer, it was really pretty I bet you'll love it in no time! P.S really cute picture of your family at the top of your blog!

ReplyDeleteI'm like you, when I'm reading a good become it feels so real!
I love the pictures & hearing about Dayton. We should set up a video chat so they can have a staring contest.
