He's Moving...In More Ways Than One

Guess who's crawling....

Still makes me laugh watching that video. Does he remind you of a newborn baby horse or fawn walking for the first time with skinny, wobbly legs? He is precious!

In other news, we are moving to the Philadelphia area! Call us nomads, but we are excited about it. Kirk landed a new job with Ford Motor Company in the Philly area. Plus, Ford will pack us up and move us out, AND they'll cover the expenses. Sweet deal, right?

Did I mention Kirk will get to drive a new Ford Explorer?

Last week we visited PA to find a new apartment--translate: Dayton spent hours and hours in his car seat as we drove from place to place. I wouldn't be surprised if he thought about calling Child Protective Services. He was always a trooper and did really well. At the end of each day at the hotel, he was giddy to be free. This picture was a lunch break. He finally had a turn behind the wheel.

Despite our excitement over moving to Pennsylvania, Colorado has been wonderful and we will really miss our friends. Maybe some day we'll be able to come back and settle down here? Who knows. And do you remember my humble little garden? The corn is now taller than Kirk, the zucchini and watermelon threaten to take over the yard, and we've had several heads of lettuce fresh from our backyard. That will be sad to leave behind. But looking forward, Pennsylvania will bring new adventures and authentic Cheese-steak sandwiches. Sign me up!

  1. Loved the video. He's so cute and looks like a busy boy. Congrats on the new job. I'm excited you'll be closer to Tara and Cam and the boys. Great experience. Next time I come back to visit Cris' mother--it's on baby.
