Last week's date night was a picnic with a walk along the shore of a nearby reservior...
This was a stormy night in Colorado. This lake is in the center of town--sooo pretty...
We have started a new (and ambitious) tradition for Conference weekend: a sunrise hike with breakfast on the trail. We got up this morning at 5:20 to start our hike just as the sun was coming up at about 6:20. It was TOTALLY worth it. The cinnamon rolls that we ate for breakfast were only part of the fun. The birds were chirping, the air smelled like autumn and pine trees, and we were the only people on the trail.
By the way, now is the time to make a paper chain if you haven't done so already, because...
...we only have THIRTY DAYS left until Baby arrives! This little foot...
...is how he tells me he can't wait to be here. It's usually in my side or under my ribs :o) Crazy sensation, but I love it.
I can't wait to see pictures of your little one! I wish I was that ambitious to wake up that early to go on a hike! The pictures are way beautiful though!
ReplyDeleteGreat pics!
ReplyDeleteOnly 30 more days, woohoo!
Good to see you again! We'll see how long that tradition lasts once little Dayton has sucked all the life out of you!!! J/K It'll be fine. I just doubt you'll be up for a hike at SUNRISE!
ReplyDeleteOoooo!! Beautiful cloud pics!! (Hint hint!)
ReplyDeleteThat IS ambitious getting up and hiking that early in the morning. I think a sunset hike is more my style!
Enjoy the last month! You're going to be a great mama!
Impressive that you can still take a sunrise hike with that blossoming belly. Kudos. Can't wait to see newborn pictures. Get sleep while you can.
