Birthday Boy!

Dayton had his 1st birthday last week!

He's rockin' some new shades...

As is tradition, he was spoiled by his grandparents with fun new toys, and he did a great job mashing eating his birthday cake. He was sold after the first lick of frosting! (No pictures, sorry--we took a 5-minute video of him licking and mashing and squishing his cake. It features me singing a solo birthday song, so I figured I would spare you. Be grateful.)

His stats are:
87% height (31 1/2") + 95% head circ, + 78% weight (24 lbs 13 oz) = A Big, Happy Boy

He is sooo close to walking...my days of relative peace are numbered :o) He flirts with the women at church, the cashiers at the grocery store, and little girls his age. He climbs up the stairs really well, loves being outside, and loves animals.
