*-*Christmas Vacay*-*

Raise your hand if you love driving across Wyoming during the winter...

I don't see any hands. That's what I thought.

This picture is a representation of the driving conditions we had on the way to Utah. Kirk was gripping the steering wheel so tightly (for 12.5 hours) that he lost the feeling in his ring finger for two days. No offense to any natives of Wyoming; it was beautiful in a sort of moon-like way. Mysterious and desolate.

Though it started with a long and tense drive across Wyoming, our Christmas vacation was fabulous. As always, it was so good to spend time with our families.

"Santa" dropped by on Christmas Eve to say hello. Dayton saw right through that fake beard.

A very candid picture of the little cousins. Dayton is grateful that he was being held by Moira; Kella (on the right), bless her little heart, is still learning how to hold new babies. :o)

Dayton and Casen were reunited for some good times. Dayton is starting to catch up with Case in the height and weight department.

And guess what our little Prodigy did at 2 1/2 months old??

  1. He is a total genius! And so darling. He's a good mix of both his parents. And I loved hearing your mom enjoy her little grandson. Hilarious.

  3. Carol--indeed, Patty does enjoy her grandbabies. Much like you do.
Emily--We miss you guys! Can't wait until Dayton is old enough so that all his girl cousins can put him in dresses and put make-up on him. Builds character right??

  4. First of all.. Wyoming was horrible in the SUMMER, so I can't even imagine how horrible it was in the winter with bad roads! (that state is the worst) Second your baby is the cutest thing ever, I can't believe he is already rolling over! I agree.. he's already a total genius!

  6. I don't want to rain on your parade but that video is a poor representation of the "so-called 2 1/2 month-roll over." It is more of a 1/2 roll due to the placement of the arm, yada, yada, yada...He must be placed fully on his back or stomach and then turn himself, don't you have any footage of the full turnover? Pretty sure I witnessed that first hand!
