I Can't Stop Myself

There may be some truth to the idea that after you have children, they consume ALL of your attention--in a good way. Maybe it's because Dayton is changing so quickly, but we can't seem to get enough pictures and videos of him. I realize that you may not come here for a weekly update on this little guy, but that's just part of the deal now. :o) And have pity on this boy's grandparents. They live 450+ miles away, so they must live vicariously through blog photos. Poor unfortunate souls...
Despite being content to play with Dayton, we do leave the house occasionally. Denver Museum? Fantastic. Shopping? You betcha. We've also been playing basketball on Saturday mornings with people from church--it's a blast. There are about 8-10 guys each week who range in age from 16 to 56. LOADS of fun and great exercise. It's the closest we've come to a cardio workout in the last 4 months. awesome Dayton sleeps through our games...for now, at least.

  3. Obviously people wouldn't look at your blog if they didn't want to see pictures of the little guy haha...besides, I'm worse than you! My mom and sisters call me all the time asking for pictures, so we post all the time :). Grandmas that live over 400 miles away get special picture posting. And Dayton is SO adorable, so keep posting!

  5. Carol--that is an excellent question. Truth be told, she is feeling tortured by his absence. If it were possible, all she would want for her birthday was for me to ship him first class to her house. But Child Protective Services would have none of that.
