Our first Christmas on our own! We missed our families, but they still managed to spoil us.
After getting into their cozy Christmas Eve PJ's, Kirk taught Dayton how to play the Didgeridoo (Australian aborigine instrument) using an empty tube of wrapping paper. He loved it, as you can see.
ALL of Christmas was recorded on video--these are just some snippets. We set the bar kind of high; hopefully our future children won't feel too bad if we do less videoing as the crazy factor increases.
My brother really outdid himself this year. He sent Dayton a University of Utah jersey and sweatshirt so we can gang up on Daddy in his BYU gear on game days. Kirk's expression was priceless when he realized what it was--somewhere between loathing and disgust. This isn't a great picture of the jersey, but Dayton rocks it. :o)
Uncle Jake also sent Dayton a Radio Flyer bike, complete with a little bell and handlebar streamers. Soooo adorable! Dayton is working on the coordination still, but he's a huge fan of dinging that bell.
Some good friends invited us over for Christmas dinner. Delicious food, good laughs, and hopefully an arranged marriage for Dayton. They have a very cute little girl who likes to give Dayton kisses. :o)
Christmas on a Sunday = Awesome.
New church time for 2012 at 9 a.m. = no bueno.
Master Dayton strongly objects.
Looks like you had a great Christmas. I loved the video of Dayton "dancing" to I Love to See the Temple. The kid has moves.
ReplyDeleteGreat Christmas! Love Dayton's laugh!
