Around April Fool's Day, my sinister, somewhat devious streak manifests itself. Poor Kirk is the only adult within arm's reach, so he is the brunt of my jokes. This year's pranks were:
1 - Icy Hot on the toilet seat (wore off before he got around to sitting on it)
2 - I put on chapstick, and then applied a nice thick coat of Orajel teething gel to my lips. Kirk got his "leaving for work" kiss, and in seconds asked, "What is that? My mouth is going numb!" Mwahaha, Happy April Fool's Day my Love...
Saturday morning we had our second semi-annual "Sunrise with Cinnamon Rolls" hike. What do you think--was it worth it?
We look homeless, don't judge. :o) I've had those sweat pants since Jr. high school. They kept me warm during many an Idaho track meet.
Kirk with a view of Long's Peak in the background, one of Colorado's 14,000 footers. That'll be our hike next weekend. ;o)
If you look closely, the peak in the distance is Pike's Peak, 150 miles away from where we were standing. That is
also where my great-grandparents lived. It was amazing to be able to see SO FAR in every direction.
Dayton found these delicious, stubby little sausages (toes) recently. Love to watch him snack on them!
We've heard the stories that once your baby starts solid foods, changing their diaper becomes a bit more, shall we say...challenging. It's true--believe every word. Those of you with wee ones about to start the solid food adventure, treasure the days of using one wipe per diaper. ;o)
